As first-time woodstove buyers, we didn't really know what to expect. Myers Chimney was the first place we went, and Ian recommended a Blaze King stove. After hours of research and quotes from other companies we realized that we had it right the first time, and bought a Blaze King from Myers. Ian and his staff are friendly, knowledgeable and professional. The stove is beautiful, a full load can burn for an entire day! The house is toasty warm, and we're using less wood than with our old wood electric furnace! I can't recommend Myers highly enough!

Hi Ian,
Your crew was polite, punctual, professional and completed the work on schedule.
They also went above and beyond by repairing a couple section of roof and completely cleaned up after themselves.
Outstanding and great service! Thank you and please thank them for me. A great job done all the way around.
The stoves look great!
They did mention I should probably have some snow guards for the chimneys. Please arrange if possible.
We will use you for service and as our friends and acquaintances admire the work we will be sure to refer you.

Ian - We just wanted to tell you how WONDERFUL the insert is that you installed in our fireplace! We have never been warmer or used less wood and are wondering why we didn't do it years ago!!! This summer has certainly been a test for cool wet weather. We even hitched up the fan just to see how it works and it's unbelievable! Toasty all night on 3 pieces of wood. Many thanks for your advice and work. And it passes the popcorn and s'more test! If you ever need a reference or testimonial for your work or Osburn products just let us know! Thanks again.

We have used Ian Myers since we moved to Haliburton five years ago. Ian has serviced our two stoves and chimneys. He also replaced a wood stove and a pellet stove. We were very happy with both new stoves. We have been very impressed with Ian’s service and knowledge. I remember one day we had a small leak in our chimney. We called Ian and he came right up and caulked it. He is very loyal to his customers.

This is the second time we’ve called on Myers Chimney for service, and we intend to make it a recurring appointment. There are so many positive things to say about Ian and his assistant. They arrive when they say they will, and if that is not possible, for whatever reason, they call and let you know about the delay. That specific courtesy is rare these days, and very much appreciated. Ian is extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of heating with wood and he willingly shares that wisdom. Ian - Many thanks for all your hard work to successfully ensure that I have a working chimney. Your professionalism and friendly manner are such a bonus. It's great to have properly working stove pipes. One of the recent damp, cold days I only needed six small pieces of the cedar and they lasted all day. This comfortably took the chill and dampness off the house.

In March 2011 we purchased a Vermont Castings stove
(the smallest - Aspen model) from Myers Chimney in
Minden, Ontario. We have been very happy with the
performance of the stove - it burns very little wood, it
holds it's heat for about 6 hours so it really keeps this
part of the house warm and cozy. We have been very
pleased with the service we received from Ian - he is
always courteous, professional, prompt to respond to
questions, comes to sort out any problems or just to
check things over with us. We are very happy with our
purchase and have no hesitation in recommending
Ian to anyone. As you can see, our dog likes the stove too!

I have used Myers Chimney for chimney cleaning and
I was completely satisfied with his professional,
on-time service. Two winters ago I had damage to
my chimney from the snow load on my roof and he
provided prompt, emergency service to correct the
problem. I have had no problems with my chimney
since he installed snow breakers and stronger
supports....he definitely has given me peace of mind
that my chimney - and most importantly, my family,
